Here is a recipe for making chicken masala:

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons Harichand chicken masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Coriander leaves, for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan or kadhai. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
  4. Add the chicken pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, Harichand chicken masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the chicken is slightly browned.
  5. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water and mix well. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice, roti, or naan.
